Many of us in Chester will know that tomorrow sees one of our own, Esme Bowdler, competing in the final of ITV’s “Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream” for a chance to play ‘Sophie’ in the West End. Wow!! How cool is that. So, let’s get it right out there straight away. Good luck Esme in the Mama Mia Final. We’ve all got our fingers crossed for you. Might I add however, not too crossed to prevent us voting for Esme. We wouldn’t want to get our digits in a tangle while voting would we!! Talking of voting, more on that below.

Good Luck Esme In The Mamma Mia Final

Esme, from Chester, will be hoping to wow the judges again to such an extent to give her a golden opportunity to take on the lead role in ITV’s “Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream“.

Esme is one of 14 musical theatre hopefuls who started the journey with the ABBA-themed show back in the summer. Those 14 hopefuls has now been whittled down to just the four finalists. That in itself is a massive achievement, so take a bow for getting to the final Esme.

The four finalists consisting of, Esme and Stevie, will hope to become ‘Sophie’ while Tobias and Owen will hope to become ‘Sky’.

The show initially began on the stunning islands of Greece, which form the setting for the now iconic film. The live final however will be at the Novello Theatre in London tomorrow, 10th December.

Esme’s journey to the final has been eventful and an exceptional effort by someone so dedicated and focused. Have a read as it will show you how determined Esme has been and the level of support she has received from family and friends. A journey that deserves to succeed.

The final is to be hosted by Zoe Ball. The four finalists will be put through their paces with celebrity judges; Alan Carr, Jessie Ware, Samantha Barks and Amber Riley, on hand to test everything from singing and dancing, to acting and chemistry. All under the watchful eye of Mamma Mia! creator and global producer, Judy Craymer.

The live final will take place on Sunday, December 10 from 6.30pm on ITV 1 and ITVX. Details on how to vote for Esme will appear during the show and up to five free votes can be cast online.
