Weighted Hula Hooping In Saltney
I must admit I got the wrong end of the stick when someone asked me recently if I had any thoughts on Hula Hoops. A strange question I thought, but why not. I’ll weigh in with my opinion on those tasty, crunchy little suckers. As I started to provide my not so expert opinion, while confirming that I do much prefer a bag of cheese and onion crisps, I was interrupted with a firm but polite, “what are you on about?” Very quickly I was corrected on my totally irrelevant verdict on the popular savoury snacks. Wrong type of hula hoops. The penny started to drop as I realised the question was actually about weighted hula hooping in Saltney and not the tasty nibbles.
After a quick chat, where weighted hula hooping was better explained to me, I thought that this may well be a topic of interest to my website visitors. So, without any further ado, what is weighted hula hooping? Read on and you will find out.
Weighted Hula Hooping
The first thing to note is the venue options in the poster above. As you can see, there are three venues where you can participate. Sychdyn, New Brighton and on a Tuesday, Saltney. Or to be more precise, Saltney Ferry. Which of course is just outside Chester as we all well know. And this is what you can expect if you attended any of these classes.
Very importantly, weighted hula hooping has so many benefits, some of which may include losing up to 600 calories in 40 minutes. Also, it will improve your aerobic health, reduce a few pounds around your waist and hips (plus all over body when combined with fun routines and resistance bands!); reduce abdominal fat; increase core muscle mass; decrease bad cholesterol and bring a general feeling of well being. Oh, and attending these classes will add a few laughs along the way. A lot of boxes ticked aren’t there. So why not give it a go!!
Weighted Hula Hooping Class Details
I spoke with one class regular and this is what they told me. “These classes are so friendly, run by a qualified and experienced instructor and they only cost £5 on the door. If you are interested, please email hulabandfitness@gmail.com; or find them on Facebook @hulabandfitness or Instagram hulahoopingfitness.
I have been attending these classes for over 5 years every week and it is a wonderful way to unwind after a hard day’s work! If you would like further information, I have a poster with all the details that I can email to you (I can’t work out how to attach to this post!)”
So there you have it folks. If you are looking to get fit, or for something a bit different in terms of exercise, then why not pop along to the Saltney Ferry scout hut? It looks like it will be a lot of fun as well.
