Rugby World Cup At Chester RUFC
Hot on the heels of the women’s football World Cup we have the World’s biggest Rugby event starting very soon (Friday 8th September), the Rugby World Cup. Plenty of matches to look forward to for all avid Rugby fans. And where better to watch it than the home of Chester rugby – Chester RUFC. In the Clubhouse to be more exact. A cracking venue without a doubt. A very spacious room, big screens, a good atmosphere and a well stocked bar. No shock there – rugby players and fans partaking in a pint or two. And why not.
So far, so good? I reckon so. What’s not to like.
You may want a bit more detail though. Here you go.
Rugby World Cup At Chester RUFC
Where it all begins.
Friday, 8th September: Kickstart the tournament and your weekend with the intriguing clash between France and New Zealand. As the first whistle of the Rugby World Cup sounds to start the proceedings at 8:15pm, you can enjoy the unfolding events live on the Club’s big screen. The bar will be open, where you can grab a cheeky one or two to ensure your viewing is accompanied by your favourite snifter.
Every Wednesday: As the competition progresses, why not join the proceedings with a bit of midweek rugby fever. You won’t want to miss out on the exciting Wednesday night games. Chester RUFC clubhouse promises not just a live screening but also a lively atmosphere to enjoy the matches. The bar and food kiosk will be fully operational. So, another chance to partake in your favourite tipple. And an opportunity to have a bite to eat as well to help keep you going.
Special Day Alert – 7th October: Nothing scary like a Marlon Brando-esque (Godfather) invitation, but here’s an offer a rigby loving fan can’t refuse. What about enjoying a delightful lunch at the clubhouse for just £10! But that’s not all. As you enjoy your meal, the TV screens will be on of course, where you can witness all the home nations battling it out on the pitch.
Not only that, the Chester Rugby Club 1st team will also be in action. A full house will be expected on this day, so it’s recommended to get to the club early.
