Merseyrail Strike
A quick and maybe too late heads up, but I’ve just noticed that there is a Merseyrail Strike today, 3rd March.
There is a limited train service, but there are no trains leaving Chester or returning to Chester.

As it doesn’t leave or return to Chester it isn’t much use to Chester residents. It is basically Hooton to Hooton with plenty of stops missed out on the way. So all in all, not a brilliant service.
As an alternative there is a good bus service. The best bus option is the X8.
