Merry Christmas
Yo…ho….ho….’tis the Season to be jolly….tra….la….la….la….la….la….la…la…la…la!!! Merry Christmas!!!
A very Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope you all have the most enjoyable of times this festive period.
No doubt you all shopped out and exhausted from the wrapping and car writing. So, hopefully, very soon – if not already – you will be able to relax and enjoy Christmas. Just think after today, no need to do any shopping for a whole……24 hours!!! When, of course, the Boxing Day sales will begin.
Where do people find the time to spend so much time shopping? It is incredible really isn’t it. I called into Tesco’s on Saturday to buy just one thing but couldn’t get anywhere near the till, so I thought…..”Oh dear I will call back again tomorrow” – or words to that effect.
Sunday, the same. But if anything, even more bonkers. Surely today, Christmas Eve won’t be a problem. Everyone will be all ‘shopped out’.
But how wrong I was. It was rammed again. But as it was Christmas Eve and the….panic….panic….last day for ooh….24 hours, I had to queue with my one solitary item that is so necessary for a peaceful Christmas Day.
Important Purchase
And what was this so important one item you may ask?
It was a chicken for our four moggies!! Was it so necessary though? Believe me, you don’t want to be anywhere our kitchen when there’s chicken or turkey cooking and our loveable furballs feel as though they are missing out.
For peace of mind and to be able to enjoy our food properly, believe me it is best to give them their own treat so we’re not mithered…..too much!!
So, all done and dusted so ‘drinky poos’ time now. I’m off into town to have a shandy or two. I always love a Christmas Eve afternoon snifter. Don’t you?
Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings
So without further ado I will be on my way. May you all have the Christmas you wished for and you enjoy the festivities with those that matter to you in your lives.
If you are fortunate enough to be surrounded by those you love, spare a thought if you can to those less fortunate. Spare whatever you can to help those less fortunate enjoy their Christmas as much as they can. Whether this be a cup of tea and a sandwich, a spare pound, or just time. I am sure by offering something in someway will be so well appreciated.
So Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings one and all.
Have a good ‘un everyone. Be in touch soon.
