Hoole Chester – Christmas Lights

Hoole, also known to the locals as Notting Hoole, is a suburb in east Chester. As per the 2011 census the population of Hoole was 9,359.

Hoole is only about a mile and a half from the city centre and probably about the same to the motorway networks.

While entering Hoole from the M53 motorway, any visitor will immediately notice the abundance of quality on Hoole Road. As it is only a short distance to the city centre, Hoole is a fantastic option for visitors and residents.

In the middle of Hoole you will find the very popular shopping facilities of Faulkner Street and Charles Street. In addition to the shopping, the area also offers a wide choice of other amenities. Churches, a park, bars, restaurants, banks and, for those that like the odd flutter, bookmakers. Furthermore, in Hoole you will also find a petrol station, a chemist, hairdressers, health spa, a builders merchant and opticians.

In fact living in Hoole consequently means you have everything you need right on your door step.

Chester railway station, in City Road, is only a short walk away. Also, a regular bus service runs through Hoole to a variety of destinations.

Come and visit Hoole at any time of the year and you will not be disappointed.

Hoole Events

The Hoole Christmas Lights switch on for instance is hugely popular. More recently, Hoole has held a beer festival. Hundreds of beer lovers sampled dozens of real ales at the inaugural festival held at Hoole Community Centre. As a result of it’s success, the event has already been booked again for next year. The owner of Chester Beer and Wine, Samantha Jackson confirmed this while hailing the success of the 2017 event.

Other events to also mark on your calendar include the Hoole Fair.

As plenty will testify Hoole Chester is a hugely popular and attractive place to live in and to visit.
