Hoole Green Action Fair

Some decent weather today, so maybe an opportunity to get out and about and see what’s on locally today. A bit short notice perhaps, but I’ve just been notified of an event taking place at Hoole Community Centre. It is an event called the Hoole Green Action Fair. The poster below gives you a good idea of what’s taking place.

There’s certainly plenty going on by the looks of it. Entertainment, food and drink, a bit of shopping – what’s not to like. There’s even a repair cafe. If I’m not mistaken, that will probably involve those good guys from Computer Buddies. As well as providing a great service, these guys really contribute to the local community on a regular basis.

Aside from the Hoole Green Action Fair, visitors to Hoole will know that there is always plenty going on in Hoole anyway. So, you could make an afternoon of it and have a wander around the other great features Hoole has to offer. Maybe have a bite to eat, or a cheeky drink or two. Even more shopping perhaps. There are plenty of independent local traders you can check out. Particularly in Faulkner Street and Charles Street.

Also worth noting is that Hoole Community Centre on Westminster Road has car parking available. Also, parking is available at a reasonably priced “Pay and Display” further up Westminster Road, nearer the main Hoole Road, a short five minute walk from Hoole Community Centre.

Quite a few boxes ticked as you can see for an enjoyable afternoon out. What are you waiting for, go grab your coat and head off down there. If you do go, I hope you have a really enjoyable afternoon. Enjoy!!
