Hoole Community Centre This July
As we are now well into the summer months, there’s plenty of events going on throughout the region. I’ll post details of as many as I can to keep you informed as to what up and coming events may be of interest. Some events of course are well covered in the local media, while others not so. Either way, another mention of these events can’t do any harm. So, let’s spread the word about the upcoming events in the Hoole Community Centre this July. Visitors to my website will know that I’m a fan of this venue. Always plenty going on and it is such a well run and very popular place to visit. Don’t just take my word for it. Pop along yourself and see what you think.
Anyway, let’s take a look at what’s on at Hoole Community Centre at the Over 55 Club this July.

Here is the upcoming schedule as per recent notifications provided:
10th July – Rock Choir
If you’ve not heard of Rock Choir, you can find out more about them by checking out the Rock Choir website. The award-winning Rock Choir will be appearing at the Community Centre on the morning of the 10th July. ably led by their choirmaster Kathryn Davies. Rock Choir are known for their fabulous interpretations of popular songs and also their accompanying dance moves!
17th July – Browns of Chester Story
Emma Knight, the Arts Development Officer for CWAC will be joining the group to give an insight into the ‘More Than a Shop – Browns of Chester’ exhibition which is on at the Grosvenor Museum until 1st September.
24th July – Helen Shanley Music
The extremely talented Helen will be serenading everyone this morning. Her music spans styles, genres and decades and her voice is amazing!
31st July – Qi Gong for Enerchi with Lee Gosnay
Lee from Broad-minded will be giving an introduction to Qi Gong in this session. This will include conscious breathing, guided meditation, light warm up movements for the joints/muscles as well as Qi Gong short forms and freestyle Tai Chi, all of which are very assessable to do and empowering. This practice can also be done seated or standing and is for everyone.
Hoole Community Centre Over 55’s
As ever there is plenty going on at the Over 55’s club. There’s always a good variety of events to interest you. There is plenty of hard work that goes into putting on these events. So, support them as much as you can. You will no doubt get plenty of enjoyment and interest from the events. If you do go along, then I hope you all enjoy your visit.
