Happy New Year
As 2017 draws to a close, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year for 2018. May it bring you all, or most at least, of all the things you wish for. Whatever that may be.
Happy New Year
As a student, you may be hoping for exam success that sets you on your road to a rewarding career. Having been a student myself many moons ago, don’t forget to strike the right balance between work and play.
Or, you may be looking for that career enhancing employment change. The next step on the corporate ladder, so to speak. Don’t just make it a ‘lip service’ New Year Resolution. Really go for it. Set yourself your very own target. Best of luck with any career changes you make.
You may also be looking to move away from the hustle and bustle from the corporate, employment world. It is possible that you have had aspirations to set up your very own business. So why not do it? If you feel your business idea is a good one then pursue that dream. Draft out your business plan, seek out the advice of experts to help you on your way. Have the determination and the drive to succeed. Business success is not an overnight guarantee, so stick with it. There will be ups and downs. During your down times, remind yourself of what your initial dreams are. Stay focused and the rewards will follow.
Healthy Resolutions
Your aim for 2018 may well be to improve your health. This could well mean get fit generally. You may see joining a gym as the best option to achieve this. Maybe so, but not absolutely necessary. Walk more, cycle more, use stairs instead of lifts. There are so many ways to enjoy a better level of fitness.
Many of us are no doubt carrying a few extra pounds after the Christmas festivities. So, your aim may be to lose weight. A new fitness regime as mentioned above may be part of the answer.
Thinking of giving up the dreaded cigarettes? As an ex-smoker I know what this is like. I’m no expert, but if I could do it and find it relatively easy to do so, then anyone can. I remember the date well, 1st February 1982 was the day of my last cigarette. Why not make yours the 1st January 2018?
Happy New Year – Whatever Your Goals
Hopefully the year 2017 has been an enjoyable and a successful year for you. Let us all make 2018 even that much better. Really go for your own personal goals. And of course I wish you all good health.
On a less personal note to these dreams and ambitions, try to remember those less fortunate. The homeless for instance. Apart from my own personal goals for a Happy New Year, I really hope Share Shop Chester achieve their aim of acquiring a house to help. If we all tried to do whatever we can to make this happen, then why not add this to your own New Year Resolutions.
Oh, and be nice to animals.
Enjoy tonight’s celebrations whatever you are doing. I hope you have a great time.
