Easy Pork Chop Dinner
Now we’re cooking!!!! Pardon the pun. You may remember a couple of days ago I threatened……er, I mean I announced that I would be adding some stay at home simple recipes to my website. Pretty much to fall into line with the extra time we all seem to have at the moment as well. So, here we go, here’s our first simple meal. It’s an easy pork chop dinner.
Was it a delicacy I tried to cook in my student days? The simple answer to that is…..er, no. Not a chance. No mention of Presto baked beans so I wouldn’t have tried such a creation.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re all chomping (again no pun intended) at the bit to see the first simple addition to the new stay at home recipes category.
Here we go…….
Easy Pork Chop Dinner
Easy Pork Chop Dinner Ingredients
4 Pork chops
Can of chicken broth
1 Onion chopped
2 Cloves of garlic – chopped
2 teaspoons of olive oil
Easy Pork Chop Dinner Instructions
Put the olive oil (healthier!!) in frying pan and heat until hot. Brown the pork chops on both sides. Now add the chicken broth, onions, garlic and **any other spices** that you might like into the frying pan. Simmer on low heat for about an hour. The pork chops are tender and not dried out.
There you go. Fill yer boots!!!
**any other spices** – Hmmm…..to lob or not to lob? If you read my first stay at home recipes post you will see that my real catering skills emanate from the “Lob It In School Of Catering”
Lob what in exactly? I did mention that my favourite lobs were hot and spicy additions. But that’s not to say a lob fits all recipes. Would I lob anything extra into this recipe? No, I wouldn’t. Stick with the recipe ‘as is’
Hope this helps.
Anyway, get yourselves cooking. Er, sorry, creating. As well as a tasty simple meal, you will also be eating up (again, no pun intended) some of the spare time you have. A worthy addition to my “Things To Do During Lockdown” post.
