Road Safety Campaign Starts 1st February
Cheshire Police have announced that today sees the start of a road safety campaign across Cheshire. To some, it may seem a strange time to launch a road safety campaign as there are so few cars on the road during lockdown. But, on the other hand, it may be an ideal time as there can be a greater focus on it. Not too many distractions. Either way, it is so very important to have these campaigns. Especially as the name of the game is to save lives. So, take heed and have a read of this very brief, but important, Cheshire Police message.
Again, many thanks to John from Blacon, for providing me with the information for this article.
Road Safety Campaign
Here is the message. If you are out and about in your car for whatever reason, you should be aware of the campaign. Even though the campaign is only for a three week period starting today, don’t just treat it as a three week window only. Stay off your phone while driving permanently.
As they say in the media broadcasts for such messages. You know it makes sense.
“Today marks the start of a three week crackdown against motorists who use their mobile phone behind the wheel.
No phone call is worth dying for.
