Hello folks, where have you all been? I know, I know only kidding. It’s me who has been AWOL. Thanks to those who took the trouble to enquire as to why I’ve been so quiet recently by the way. Much appreciated. Those that didn’t!!! Shame on you!!! Anyway, where have I been? It’s a long story and I won’t bore you with the details. So, swiftly moving on. As the post heading suggests, volunteers needed for Covid Vaccination Centre.

Volunteers Needed For Covid Vaccination Centre

A young lady I know, Carrie, has posted a request on her Facebook account announcing that volunteers needed for Covid Vaccination Centre. Carrie works for the NHS and is, as expected, right in the thick of the Covid nightmare on an ongoing basis.

Here’s Carrie’s appeal in full:

“I’m working in part of the team of GP surgeries that is rolling out of the vaccination programme .

There’s a real need for volunteers. If you have the time and would like to be a Volunteer and help during the COVID Vaccination Centres at St Columba’s Church Hall in Upton, please contact Emma on emma.fay2@nhs.net.

The roles will include car park marshal, queue marshal and marshalling in the observation marquee.

Appropriate equipment will be supplied on the day – PPE and, where required, a high vis jacket.

We’re all in this together. #ChesterTogether

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.”
