Stay Alert Cat Owners
A recent pet related story to be aware of folks. The general message is to stay alert cat owners. I know it can be difficult at times to be overly cautious, especially as cats very much do as they want anyway. Nevertheless, be aware of this incident and where you can, exercise caution. Furthermore, if you know of any information that may help the authorities then come forward.

Stay Alert Cat Owners – There’s Some Cruel People About
Say “hello” to Tallulah. That’s Tallulah in the photo above. Isn’t she a cutie. The reason why Tallulah appears in a “stay alert cat owners” post is because incredibly Tallulah was shot by some strange individual.
Just to let you know, I paused for some time before describing the individual in the last sentence. Sure enough the individual has been described in a variety of ways in the Next Door Neighbourhood (NDN) forum. Ways that are a bit more colourful than ‘strange.’
All the descriptions fit, but a polite….ish description of ‘strange’ portrays an adequate picture I think. Any person that takes the trouble to find the time and go out of their way to fire pellets at a defenceless animal is, to politely put it….strange. And all the other things mentioned on NDN.
Any psychiatrists or psychologists reading may well be thinking of other descriptions and other situations such a ‘strange’ person may evolve in to.
Urgent Help Is Needed
As one NDN poster said:
“To someone who knows or suspects they know who is shooting at cats, next time it could be your pet or child. Research shows those who abuse and attack defenceless animals usually escalate their behavior and develop into psychopaths and or domestic abusers. Please don’t shelter this individual but report them so they can get the treatment they need to be decent members of society.”
If anyone does know of the shooter then do him or her a favour. Report them. They need help. Urgently.
To confirm, Tallulah lives in Hoole. So if you do know of anyone that may have carried out such a despicable act, then come forward. For their sake as well as other cats and cat owners.
Tallulah Is Feeling Better
There were quite a few worried posters on NDN for a few days. But it is a pleasure to report, Tallulah is on the mend. As the above photo shows. Under house arrest for the forseeable future no doubt. And pampered silly as well probably. And why not.
Glad to see that you are getting better Tallulah.
Stay Alert Cat Owners
Aside from this strange individual taking pot shots at defenceless animals for no reason, stay alert cat owners anyway. Stay alert for any other issues that affect your fur babies. Not only cats of course either. All pets for that matter.
