As I have been approached by a few people regarding advertising unwanted private items for sale, I have now started a “Private Classifieds” section.

For Sale At Chester Lifestyle

As we all know, there are plenty of places available to advertise unwanted goods etc. This website will provide another option if it is of interest to you. There will be a charge for this service however. The charges will be as follows:

**For Items Under £500.00**

One Week – £3.00 per week + Vat

Two Weeks – £5.00 + Vat

One Month – £10.00 + Vat

***Alternative Charges***

If you are feeling extra generous, the alternative charge rates read:

One Week – £4.00 per week + Vat (extra £1.00 will be donated to a local charity).

Two Weeks – £6.00 + Vat (extra £1.00 will be donated to a local charity).

One Month – £11.00 + Vat (extra £1.00 will be donated to a local charity).

If You Wish To Advertise

If you do wish to advertise, then send me details of the item, the price you wish to sell for and preferably a photo. A photo will help to sell obviously. In addition please include relevant contact details.

I will also post any adverts to my Facebook Page and Twitter account.

Private Items

As the name suggests, the items to be listed in this section are your own private items. This is not a section for business advertising. There is a Business Listings section for this. So, no businesses and no personal services. Also, no pets, or gambling services. I will vet all requests but I think you get the gist. If you have a load of old football programmes to get rid of, or some old DVD’s, CD’s, or an unwanted birthday or Christmas present, then here is the place.

If however, young Dotty, your ever so lively kitten has just chewed half the settee away and you’ve had enough!! This is not the place to relocate her. If it was me, I’d just sit her down and have a quiet word with her anyway. Would you really want to get rid of your loving pet anyway?

***Alternative Charges***

At this stage I am not 100% sure which local charity to donate to. My first thoughts would be to donate to Share Shop in Northgate Street initially. The donations could go towards their “Buy A Brick” scheme. In time, I will look at other charities to spread it around a bit.

Preferred method of payment would be via Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account, then the next best option would be a direct bank payment.
