I’ve been asked to spread the word regarding a missing family pet, Bertie. Bertie has gone missing and so I would like to help in the search where I can. We can all maybe try and do that so Bertie and his family are soon reunited. So, let’s get to it folks and let’s find Bertie.

“A search is underway for a family dog who went missing in Chester on October 19th (Monday just gone). Bertie, who is a wirehaired, mini Dachshund cross Jack Russell, got lost after chasing a bird during a walk near the Chester Zoo site.

Please spread the word around Upton and surrounding areas as it was in the Upton area where Bertie disappeared on 19th October 2020.”

Let’s Find Bertie And Get Him Back With His Family

He is a cutie isn’t he. Anyone who has a family pet will know that the word ‘family’ says it all really. Our furry residents are not just furry residents. They are family. Very much so. And like any other family member we get concerned when something happens to them.

We’ve had it with our moggies when they may disappear for a while. The longest situation being when our Dotty disappeared for a week, before safely returning home. So, we know what it’s like. If you can keep an eye for Bertie folks that would be great.

Let’s Find Bertie – A Search Tonight

One of the members of Next Door Neighbourhood has posted this: “Hi there is a search tonight 5.30 at Chester Zoo by the park and ride if any body would like to join. I’m going to help and hopefully get Bertie to his owners. The search will be carried out under social distancing rules of course.”

Here’s hoping Bertie is back home soon. I will update this post whenever I hear of any news. Thanks for reading folks and thanks for helping to find Bertie.
