Eat Out To Help Out
Eating out. What a great experience. Like so many others we love a nibble out now and then. In case you didn’t know, the Government have initiated an “Eat Out To Help Out” scheme to help both local restaurants and customers alike. Have a read below to find out more of the scheme. Eat Out To Help Out
Currently there has been a great positive response and take-up by restaurants and cafés for the Government’s new ‘Eat Out to Help Out‘ scheme here in Chester.
The list of places mentioned above have signed up to the initiative. What is the scheme all about though? The initiative sees menu prices slashed throughout August as part of a big Government push to stimulate the economy as a result of the damaging effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
More precisely the scheme pans out as follows:
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday across August, eateries who have signed up to the scheme will offer half price food and drink, up to a total value of £10 per person, with the Government reimbursing businesses.
How good is that!!!
The scheme runs from between August 3 and August 31. Diners are not required to have a voucher. Furthermore, diners will also be able to use other offers and discounts too. Now, that is really good
As you can see from the list above, chain restaurants and many independent eateries have signed up to the scheme. And, looking at the list, you can see some top drawer places involved.
