Dogfest Cheshire
Dogfest Cheshire is coming soon. It is being held on June 16th and 17th to be precise.
Many of us treat our pets like royalty don’t we. And why not? Well, some may disagree to treating them like royalty, but certainly treating our beloved furry (or not so furry) friends as family members is the norm. Without doubt they bring us plenty of pleasant things to enjoy in our lives. Their loyalty, their affection, their funny moments, their companionship. Whatever the reason, or reasons, we love our pets don’t we. We’re no exception. We have four moggies who bring us immense enjoyment and pleasure. All four of them are quite different characters and all know how to press the right buttons….quite often at the wrong times!! If only you furballs could read…..less of the 5am demands for food or a fuss!!!
But what about Dogfest Cheshire? Let’s take a closer look.

Dogfest Cheshire
As mentioned above it is to be held on 16th and 17th of June. Where is it? You can find it Cholmondeley Castle in the beautiful village of Cholmondeley. As far as comparisons go, Dogfest Cheshire can be likened to the “Glastonbury for Dogs”. Four-legged canine superstars in the making no less.
This year’s event will offer a variety of canine related ‘goodies’. You will find handy dog-orientated tips, competitions and shows amongst other things of interest. The newly announced ultra smart ShadowQuest Dog Display Team will also perform in the ‘Dog Activity Ring’.
Sponsored by ‘Dog Activity Ring’ this display will showcase the many talents of our furry, canine superstars. They will be strutting their stuff while showing off a variety of cool tricks. Such as abseiling down a 30ft tower, jumping through hoops of fire and zip-wiring.
Here’s a short ShadowQuest video so you can see how clever these dogs are…
The pooch extravaganza, “Dogfest Parade”, will be led by supervet Noel Fitzpatrick. Visitors to the event will also have the opportunity of meeting celebrity dogs. Included in the two-legged, human VIP line-up, are Chris Packham, Paul Manktelow and Michaela Strachan.
You can get tickets for the event by calling 0844-581-4917 or by visiting the Dogfest website HERE.
If you are thinking of planning to visit Chester, or are local, then why not have a look at Dogfest Cheshire. If you do, I do hope you really enjoy it. Why not let us know of how your visit goes by posting a comment below.
If at all possible there is a chance that any of our ‘spoilt moggie prima donnas’ are reading this…..any chance of a lie-in this weekend?
