Chester Mental Health A Holistic Approach
As I’ve mentioned previously, the idea of my Chester Lifestyle website, is that it is as much a website for the people of Chester, as well as visitors to Chester. With that in mind, I have been approached by a local holistic coach about presenting regular personal development articles. Included in this will be articles on good mental health. In short we will be discussing in this section, Chester Mental Health A Holistic Approach.
Good mental health of course is every bit a necessity for Chester people as well as anywhere else. So it makes sense that this so very important issue is addressed. Moreover, what better way to do that than to have a local consultant on board. One who is experienced in supporting people in the workplace with neuro-related conditions e.g. anxiety and dyslexia and who can teach you how to identify and use your neuro-strengths. On that note, I would like to welcome a local, holistic Chester Coach, David Jamieson to Chester Lifestyle.
This article is an introduction to David, and over time, he will be posting articles on a variety of health and wellbeing topics and issues.
As well as his own topics, feel free to suggest article topics of your own.
Without further ado…

Life’s a Pitch
David is born and bred in Hoole, having studied and taught at local schools and colleges and in his younger years played for local football and other teams. In addition he has supported local charities and led local business organisations. So it’s fair to say that David is very much a local lad.
David is a well qualified expert to have on board here at Chester Lifestyle. He is in fact qualified in coaching, lecturing, management, training and tutoring, and over the years has been helping people from all walks of life facing a variety of life challenges, for instance regarding business, career, relationships and more.
Perhaps like sports, could life be the pitch on which we play out our social and professional lives? To illustrate; presenting, competing, challenging, arguing, bartering, agreeing, giving up, teaming-up, second wind, ultimately dealing with failures and enjoying successes?
If you are regular readers of Chester Handbooks then you already know the type of topics David has successfully covered. In addition to his magazine articles, he will be looking at topical issues here at Chester Lifestyle that impact on our lives, and where appropriate, those with a local slant.
For instance, in these cold winter mornings do you wake up with dread at the thought of the day ahead, or still (!) leap out of bed with enthusiasm?
If it’s the former, then why not get it off your chest? You can drop David a line at info@davidjamiesoncoaching.co.uk with your issue, and whilst this alone can help, with permission your challenge may also be discussed in confidence in our ongoing programme.
For more general topics you would like to see covered, you can also contact David via:
When Not Helping Others
In his free time, following a knee replacement David again enjoys cycling, gym classes, eating and drinking, travel and following our local sports teams. David hopes for success for each and every one of our local teams. As he says, “Come on Chester FC – I remember us beating the likes of Leeds and Newcastle”
Hopefully those days will soon return.
