Chester Cathedral
Everyone that lives in Chester know that we are lucky to have such an iconic, historic and traditional landmark smack bang in our city centre. As you will already know, I am of course referring to Chester Cathedral. What an impressive sight to behold as you wander through Chester city centre. You could be ambling along Northgate Street or St Werburgh Street and you couldn’t fail to notice such an imposing and elegant building.
Anyone visiting Chester will no doubt have it high on their “must visit” to do list. Always plenty to see and very often plenty going on to keep you well occupied and captivated.
This particular post is not another post about the features and the historic standing of Chester Cathedral. No, there are plenty of articles about our world famous landmark. I myself have already given it a few mentions along the way since I started my Chester Lifestyle website.

No, this post is looking to bring to your attention a Chester Cathedral related piece of digital artwork I produced recently. Now and then I do take a selection of images of what I feel are interesting and iconic snapshots of Chester. And, as touched on above, you won’t see many places more iconic or more interesting than Chester Cathedral.

The image below is a digital artwork creation of a photo I took a short while ago. A photo I took while on a Sunday afternoon stroll through Chester city centre. It’s an image I think is simple and yet appealing. An image that creates a good understanding of how a significant presence Chester Cathedral has in our beautiful city centre. In other words, it dovetails nicely into all the other iconic surroundings you can find while having a good wander around.
