Chester Zoo Members Day
Is it safe to step outside the front door yet? Is the weather finally taking a turn for the better? If so, time to look at some up and coming events heading our way. I’ll have a look at as many as I can over the coming weeks and months and give a shout out as and when I am able. At the forefront of a lot of people’s thoughts when considering a day out is, of course, our world famous Chester Zoo. It’s always a very worthwhile and enjoyable day out no matter the occasion, but every now and then the Zoo offers something over and above. Like a Chester Zoo Members Day for instance. A visit to the Zoo with quite a bit more added. Let’s take a closer look shall we.
Chester Zoo Members Day
The next Chester Zoo Members Day isn’t too far away as it happens. It is all happening on Saturday 15th March. Members of course will have been notified of what’s happening and how to book by email. Assuming they’ve ticked the box to receive updates. For those who haven’t, or for non-members toying with the idea of becoming members, here’s a short message of what to expect.
As already mentioned, a day out at Chester Zoo is always a great experience. But on a Chester Zoo Members Day you can experience the zoo with family and friends. As a member of Chester Zoo, you can enjoy up to 4 half price* tickets. This presents a perfect opportunity for one and all to explore the Zoo’s beautiful award winning gardens and discover over 20,000 animals. So many of them are favourites for a whole host of regular visitors. My sister for instance loves the penguins. And who doesn’t!!
In addition, each Members Day offers an exciting new animal theme to raise awareness about endangered species and the conservation work we do across the globe. In recognition of these animal themes, you join the specialist Zoo Rangers on Saturday 15 March for talks and activities about the Zoo’s stunning frogs.

A date well worth adding to your calendar. Always plenty to see and do at Chester Zoo (yay, I’m a poet and I didn’t know it!!).
