Please Help Hugo

I’ve just seen this on our local Next Door Neighbourhood forum. Such a sad story and one that I didn’t hesitate to share. As a cat lover myself (and a lover of all animals really), this is a story that will be hopefully shared by many. Let’s see if we can spread the word far and wide. The initial story has been raised by a very concerned cat owner whose young kitten is very sick. So, have a read of this article and please help Hugo if you can. This is the original story as posted on the local forum. Before you read it though, just have a look at that cute little boy’s photo above. Isn’t he a handsome boy.

“We’ve been told our beautiful little kitten Hugo is going to die from a disease called FIP unless we can find the funds to pay for a drug called Remdesivir and the correct course of treatment.

Since Tuesday, we have already maxed out our £3k insurance allowance which has seen Hugo looked after up till tomorrow in the Chester Gates animal hospital.

Hugo will need to stay in hospital longer and receive his medication daily for 84 days. Initially this is likely to be by injection till he starts to accept it orally. My hope is that there are lots of anonymous animal lovers online that can find it in the hearts to help in any way possible.

If that is donations then amazing and thank you 🙏 if you can help by simply sharing Hugo’s GoFundMe page that would be appreciated all the same.

If there is a Vet residing in Vicars Cross who would be prepared to help administer the medication until my partner and I can get the hang of it, this would also be very helpful and take some of the pressure off once he is allowed back home. I’m asking for help because Hugo can’t ask himself. *Please Help Hugo *

Please Help Hugo – What A Cutie

As you can see from his photo, Hugo is a little cutie. As the last sentence in the appeal announces – “I’m asking for help because Hugo can’t ask himself.” Wouldn’t it be great if Hugo can get the treatment that he needs and go on to live an enjoyable and long life.
