As we all are probably aware a variety of financial support has been made available by the Government. Either directly via Central Government or via our local authorities. This latest news of Covid Grants for local businesses relates to support available through our local council.

Covid Grants For Local Businesses
Below is the official statement provided:
“If you run a hospitality, leisure or accommodation business in the North West then you could be eligible for the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant via your local council.
Key points
✅ one-off grants available of up to £6,000 per premises.
✅ grants are subject to rateable value.
✅ applies to businesses in England.

£850m Still Available
As the link says, there is still £850m available. So, for those local Chester businesses in the hospitality, leisure or accommodation industries, then have a look. Mind you, I know there are readers of my website further afield than Chester, so of course, the same would apply for whatever local authority you live in.
As most will know, most businesses have been badly affected during the pandemic. Some more than others. It seems that those in those industries mentioned above have particularly suffered more than many.
