Covid Testing Available In Hoole
A quick, short post post folks. It’s a heads up to let you know that from next week (24th January) Covid testing is available in Hoole. More details in the article below. As you will see, testing is now also available in Northwich. That’s handy to know, but for Chester residents, the Hoole option is ideal for so many.
Let’s have a look at the details in more detail shall we.
Covid Testing Available In Hoole
Have a read of this recent article originally appearing in the Chester Standard:
“Cheshire West and Chester Council’s pop-up Covid testing units will be offering free lateral flow tests in Hoole and Northwich from 24 January.
As of next week, one unit will be at Bishop Street Car Park, Hoole, CH2 3BB, from 9am to 3.30pm, Monday 24th to Friday 28th. Another will be located at Barons Quay, Northwich (outside H&M) from 9am to 3pm, Monday 24th to Friday 28th.
Fixed-place testing sites are still accessible at the Dingle Centre in Winsford and Stanney Oaks Leisure Centre in Ellesmere Port, as usual. Covid rates within the borough remain relatively high and the council encourages those who feel they may be infected but who are not displaying symptoms, to call in so that further transmissions can be prevented.
The government are still recommending that everyone tests for Covid twice a week, regardless of their vaccination status. Free home test kits are also available to collect at pop-up testing units.

Although it was reported last week that infection rates in Cheshire were falling – see this update HERE – we should still be mindful of doing our best to stay safe and to consider testing if required.
Let’s hope that we are heading out of these troubled times. As we move towards Spring and the weather improves, winter viruses will no doubt reduce accordingly.
