Wow, they’re coming thick and fast now. A new month and a new Chester Zoo virtual tour. This Friday, the 1st May, sees Chester Zoo Virtual Tour Number 5 taking place.

So what can we expect from Chester Zoo Virtual Tour Number 5? You can see an itinerary of the scheduled events below. It needs to be pointed out that this schedule may be subject to change on the day. But so far, it is as follows:
From 10am, viewers tuning in can see red river hogs tucking into their breakfast. This is to be followed by chimpanzee feeding times and lunchtime with the painted dogs.
I must say, I’ve always been well impressed with having a look at the painted dogs whenever we’ve visited Chester Zoo. Impressive looking pooches to say the least.
Having dined with the painted dogs at lunch, time to say “Hello” to the world’s most dangerous birds. No, no, no…..not the ladies at throwing out time at The Grafton. I’m talking about the cassowaries. Who are equipped with dangerous, dagger-like claws. Scary? We’ll soon see.
If the cassowaries have suitably impressed you then your next visit will almost certainly do the same.
If you haven’t seen the reticulated python yet, you really must. It’s a big fella – if it’s the one I’m thinking of. Our python friend will be enjoying a late lunch. Now that will be worth seeing. If only to see what the Zoo will feed him and see how quickly he devours his lunch.
