And they keep coming. The scam alerts I mean. They’re relentless aren’t they!!! Thankfully, John from Blacon is on the ball. As regular visitors will know, John sends me many very useful Cheshire Police Alerts as well as other informational posts. Thanks again John. This latest Covid-19 scam alert is about a bogus, phishing message doing the rounds.

Take care folks. If in doubt just don’t click anything you are not 100% sure about. I’d even go a stage further. Doubt everything to begin with. Look for some tell tale signs, like “Dear Customer” or “Dear Paypal Customer” and such like.
Don’t entertain them. And anything that says things like, we have a refund of £xxx.yy available for you, DO NOT click anything. Ever!!!
Hope this helps in some way. You need to realise that these scammers are constantly looking for new scams. We need to do as much as we can to stay ahead of the game, or at least on a more level playing field.
