The plight of the homeless had crossed my mind over the last day or two. It is such a frightening thing to have to deal with anyway, but at this particular time, the homeless dilemma is more important than ever. As it happens I was asked about an hour or so ago to post the below “Help A Homeless Person” message. Without any hesitation the message – along with the relevant links – can be seen below.

Read it folks and take action. It is so very important. And, a big, big request…..share this message wherever you can.

Help A Homeless Person

Here is the “Help A Homeless Person” message sent out by Share Shop, Northgate Street, Chester. Read it in full, act on it where you can and pass the message on as well.

“PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE – WE NEED HELP TODAY!!

Your help is needed NOW more than ever!

During the COVID-19 crisis, while many of us are safely tucked up in our lovely warm homes, our team have continued to go out daily, providing food, hygiene products, and encouraging our friends who are homeless to accept help from local agencies.

We are delighted to tell you that all of our guys have now been provided with isolation accommodation by CWAC but they still desperately need our help.

Isolating in one room for weeks on end is hard. Particularly if you have significant mental health problems.

Many are afraid and lonely.

As many other charities can no longer continue, they need Share’s food, clean clothes and care more than ever.

The Share Shop has had to close its doors and that means we have lost most of our income.

Please please please consider making a donation, no matter how small.

Every £1 helps and will allow us to continue to care for our homeless over the coming weeks!

As a local Chester charity we can’t continue without your support. PLEASE HELP US!

Hopefully with the permission of Share Shop Chester I can post updates as to how the fund is going.

Not only that, once all the Coronavirus nightmare has settled down, why stop there in the battle to help the homeless? Again, hopefully in conjunction with Share Shop, I can post regular bulletins on my Chester Lifestyle website so that this major issue is not forgotten about post-Coronavirus crisis.
