Chester Zoo Cute Alert
We’re all so concerned – and rightly so – about the very serious situation we all find ourselves in. That being so, it is so easy to take our minds away from more normal events. And, in particular, normal, happy events may well take a back seat. But maybe we should spend some of the extra time we now have to focus on more normal, happy events. On that note, stand by for a……..Chester Zoo Cute Alert!!!
Chester Zoo Cute Alert
Anyone who may read my website on a regular basis will be aware that I am a HUGE fan of Chester Zoo. Over the years we’ve had a season ticket as we do visit as much as we can. Unfortunately though this is the first year we haven’t had one for a while. Long story. Anyway, that doesn’t stop me closely following the fortunes of our world famous attraction. Sort of from afar, but not so far….if you see what I mean.
There is always a lot going on at Chester Zoo. It is a fabulous place to visit and those of us who live in Chester are so fortunate to have the venue right on our doorstep.
In terms of normal and happy events, fortunately in many ways, Mother Nature does not let any horrible viruses get in the way of all happy events. Nature still takes it course in so many ways. Hence the great news coming out of Chester Zoo and the reason for this Chester Zoo Cute Alert post.
We have news of two new baby lemurs being born in the last few days. Great news and something to focus on as something to look forward to when and if we can return to visiting Chester Zoo.
Chester Zoo Cute Alert – Two Baby Lemurs
Hot off the press, two endangered Ring-tailed lemurs have been born at Chester Zoo. Their birth marks another success story for Chester Zoo’s ongoing wildlife park’s conservation programme. The twin babies were born to seven-year-old mum Fiona (well done and congratulations Fiona!!!) and the zoo is hoping that their arrival will help highlight the plight of the species and their native home, Madagascar.
But for now, let’s celebrate the occasion and let’s have a look at what has caused this Chester Zoo Cute Alert message.
Head on over to this link on Chester Zoo’s website for full details of the births HERE.
And to see a short video of the babies already enjoying life while clinging on to their Mum, have a look at this Tweet HERE.
Welcome to the world young ‘uns. Let’s hope things return back to normal soon enough and we can pop along and visit you.
Fingers crossed there will be many more Chester Zoo Cute Alert messages to report on soon enough.
