Veterans Day Beer

There are some news snippets you have to write about for so many reasons. Stories always worth a mention could be of a sporting interest, a success story, a scam warning, a business announcement, a canine therapy worker in a local school, or a good cause event to name just a few topics. This particular post fits in with the last category mentioned above. Brewhouse & Kitchen in Chester have made available a special beer to honour veterans day.

Veterans Day Beer

Recently Brewhouse & Kitchen in Chester city centre held an event to launch the “Veteran Brew”.

The event itself paid tribute to all the service men and women who have bravely fought for and served their country. As a follow up to that event a veterans day beer has been specially brewed for us all to enjoy.

The new “Veterans Brew” will be available in Brewhouse & Kitchen in the run up to Remembrance Day. In case you didn’t know, Remembrance Day falls on Sunday 10th November. A week on Sunday basically. The new “Veterans Brew” will be available as from the 7th November at a special tapping party.

Everyone is being invited to witness the beer being tapped and subsequently becoming available for quaffing. Oh, how did I forget this. You can also enjoy some free samples!!!

Er……you know where I mentioned some worthwhile news topics above. I think it’s more than reasonable to add the word “freebies” and great beer to that list.

Those that know me will also know I do like a good pint of cask beer every now and then.

Veterans Day Beer Charity Donation

Add a great cause to the words “free” and “great beer” and you will see that you are on to a winner. Okay, I know the freebies will stop at some point but nevertheless enjoy it while you can.

And while you’re at it, stay a while because when you are at the point where you need to pay for your beer, you will be doing so comforted in the knowledge that for every veteran day beer pint bought a donation will be made to charity.

Sounds like a plan and a great cause to me. Well done to Brewhouse & Kitchen for doing their in brewing a special pint for such a special event.

A big thank you to Brewhouse & Kitchen but more importantly a HUMONGOUS “thank you” to all the brave service men and women who have served us all so brilliantly.

Finally, don’t forget to wear your poppy with pride!!!!
