This has just been brought to my attention. It may or may not be of any consequent significance, but as the saying goes – it’s best to be safe than sorry. In short be aware of late night visitors. A lady in the Garden Quarter of Chester has this incident to report.

Be Aware Of Late Night Visitors

Here is what happened:

“Just had an experience where some random guy walked into our back garden around 12:30 -01:00am and starting knocking on our back door. No knocking on our front door which was really suspicious.

My partner opened a window to talk to him, where he was either clearly drunk or acting like it, saying that his phone died and he needed to get a taxi home.

We called him a taxi, however he just walked away and never got in the car, of which left soon after the driver was informed of the situation by text. Just putting it on here just in case this is an on going thing, where it’s more about finding out whether someone is in the house or not for robbing. Plus he would not tell my partner his name.

Description: Male, mid to late 20’s, Caucasian, short dark hair, light blue shirt, trousers, medium built.

Obviously hardly anything to go on, especially with it being dark but you never know.

Be Aware Of Late Night Visitors – Stay Vigilant

As mentioned, it may or may not be of any significance. But again, there is no harm in giving this a mention. Anyone encountering a similar incident will now know that this has happened before and it may be something more serious.

Well done to the lady who raised this potential issue. Her accurate and detailed observations may provide sufficient information to prevent this happening again. Or, if there is something untoward going on, it may also go some way in helping to apprehend the offender.
