55 Club Boat Trip
Diaries at the ready again folks. Any regular website visitors will know that I’m a fan of the 55 Club at Hoole Community Centre. They have some really great events every Wednesday. Plenty of variety and activities of interest to many. And they even offer you food. One event to look forward in the next couple of weeks is the 55 Club Boat Trip. Have a read below for more details.
55 Club Boat Trip
Take note of these details that have been sent on to me by one of the volunteers at Hoole Community Centre. First thing to note is the date – Wednesday 15th May. For more details:
“We’re hoping for sunshine for our trip down the river on the famous Lady Diana! All places must be booked in advance. We’ll be meeting by the river ready to set sail at 10.30am. Lunch and tea/coffee will be provided and the normal cost of £6 per person will apply. Please let me know if you’d like to book on and if you need transport.”
Fair do’s we are well overdue the opening comment aren’t we. “We’re hoping for sunshine.” It’s about time we get to enjoy some decent warm weather. As the message says, let’s hope for good weather for this 55 Club Boat Trip.
Chester Boat Company
In case you didn’t know, the river trip is run by the local Chester Boat Company, a popular Chester attraction you can find at The Groves alongside the River Dee. The 55 Club Boat Trip on the 14th May is setting sail on the Lady Diana boat, but it is worth noting that there are a variety of trips to enjoy either on the Lady Diana, Mark Twain or The Jackie. Having been on many a “Lady Di” boat trip myself, I’m sure the 55 Club will have a great time. It really is a trip worth going on. Enjoy it one and all.
For more details of the trip, give the Hoole Community Centre a call on 01244 342741 and ask for Sophie. Also, if you haven’t paid a visit to the Hoole Community Centre yet, why not pop along. You won’t be disappointed. Plenty to do and plenty of events of interest. While there, you must have a nibble or a brew in Hobsons Cafe. It is a really top notch cafe.
